Dave was born in England. He graduated with Honors from the University of Sheffield. After moving to the U.S., he attended law school and was awarded his law degree from the University of Kansas School of Law. Dave represented KU Law School in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition finals in Washington D.C. He was awarded the Mary Anne Chambers Service Award. After passing the bar, Dave focused his practice on litigation, representing businesses and individuals in business and commercial, domestic, and personal injury disputes. In addition to his litigation practice, Dave provides general counsel to individuals and businesses, negotiates and drafts business agreements, and helps clients navigate administrative, insurance, employment, licensing and regulatory compliance issues.
Dave spends his spare time with his wife and two daughters, frequently traveling with and supporting his daughters’ soccer teams. Over time, Dave has learned not to scream during games. But it is a work in progress. Before he went law school and began a family, Dave became a SCUBA Instructor, which took him to the Bahamas and the Great Barrier reef and many points in between. During this time, Dave learned to sail, introduced hundreds of individuals to SCUBA, fed sharks, and salvaged a Bahamian Destroyer. Only one of Dave’s divers was hospitalized.
Dave is licensed to practice in the Kansas and Missouri State and Federal Courts.
